OUR HISTORY
The original Aramco Imports was founded in Lebanon in 1945 as an aluminum factory by Aram Soulahian, the late father of current President and CEO, Viken Soulahian. These early origins set the foundation for the future manufacture and design of high-quality kitchenware.
Aramco Imports was officially incorporated in the United States in 1995, establishing its first warehouse in Glendale, California. Over the years, as the Company gained significant market share in the housewares industry, it launched its flagship brand, Alpine Cuisine, specializing in cookware, kitchen products, and appliances.
Driven by its ongoing expansion, Aramco Imports made the move to its current location in Commerce, California, while also establishing offices in China, Lebanon, and Mexico.
Over the years, the Company successfully ventured into new categories and product lines, acquiring notable brand licenses with Hamilton Beach, Proctor Silex, Welch’s-Oil, and Ginsu. It further launched its line of imported specialty foods with its own brands, Bettino, Fresno Valley, and Al-Mashrek. To continue modernizing, Aramco Imports also forged new partnerships with social media influencers and renowned celebrity chefs, including Jeff Mauro.
Today, Aramco Imports supplies a diverse range of products across multiple categories, including cookware, bakeware, kitchen gadgets & utensils, kitchen appliances, BBQ essentials, tabletop, and specialty food. With thousands of national and international retail partners, Aramco Imports has become a leader and powerhouse in the kitchenware industry.
In 2025, Aramco Imports celebrates its 30th anniversary, reflecting on its humble beginnings and relentless dedication to perfecting its craft. With deep appreciation for its team members, partnerships, and loyal customers, it continues to innovate and offer high-quality products at affordable prices.
